Pulsar Trail XP38 1.2-9.6×32 – Advanced Thermal Imaging Rifle Scope
Equipment Pulsar has created the market’s most advanced thermal imaging rifle scope. It can be hard to find a hunting game in dense forests, mainly when it gets dark; however, having the Trail on the rifle makes this task easier and faster.
The Trail uses a cutting-edge thermal imaging sensor with an impressive 640×480 pixel resolution and 17-micron pixel size—making it the best thermal rendering software in its class. Variable magnification allows for clear identification of objects located at a distance, and the detection distance at night stands at 1800 meters or 2000 yards.
Built-In Wi-Fi & Battery Pack
The Trail comes with a built-in Wi-Fi module that enables users to wirelessly connect their smartphone or tablet to the rifle scope within seconds using StreamVision mobile applications, which are available for Android and iOS devices. Moreover, It features a battery unit that ensures fast and easy battery replacements in the field—changing the B-pack is as easy as changing a gun magazine. The large B-pack battery provides enough power for up to 16 hours of uninterrupted Wi-Fi video streaming.
Waterproof Body & Quick Release Mount
A fully waterproof body protects the rifle scope from heavy rain or other unfavourable conditions, giving hunters peace of mind that their equipment will not let them down at crucial moments. Additionally, a quick-release mount ensures firm and fast mounting of the trail rifle scope onto any weapon with Picatinny or Weaver rails.
Zeroing Profiles For Convenience
The Trail allows users to save three zeroing profiles with five distances for each profile—a total of fifteen zeroing distances altogether. Hunters also have various options for zeroing, with free zeroing being one of them.
Trijicon Reap-IR Mini Thermal Rifle Scope
Trijicon is proud to enter the electro Optics Market with its industry-leading thermal products – including the Trijicon Reap-IR Mini Thermal Rifle Scope. This small, light, and powerful thermal rifle scope lets you engage targets in any light, trusted by the most demanding shooters and hunters that require speed and accuracy for nighttime use.
Like all Trijicon’s thermals, the Reap-IR offers the best thermal image quality today by utilizing a state-of-the-art 12 Micron 640×480 thermal image sensor and top-quality optical components. It also features a blazing-fast 60-hertz frame rate camera to provide the best possible imagery for dynamic engagements and moving targets.
In keeping with Trijicon’s history of rugged, dependable optics, The Reef IR is designed, constructed, and tested to military standard 810g to provide users with the same level of reliability demanded by their military and law enforcement customers. Each Reap-IR is constructed of aircraft grade 6061 aluminium and is waterproof to one meter.

The Reap-IR is an incredibly capable optic; it has expansive menu options, including 8x digital zoom image capture, digital focus control, five reticle patterns, six white hot/black hot settings, edge detect mode and a stadiametric rangefinder for determining target distance.
Lastly, the Reap-IR is designed, machined, and assembled by an expert team in Auburn, California.
Pulsar’s Thermion Duo DXP50
A modern way of hunting just got better with the first multi-spectral hunting rifle scope, the Pulsar Thermion Duo DXB50. This special device combines thermal imaging detection at any time of day or night with a 4K full-colour channel for daytime hunting. Hunters can now enjoy reliable identification of their targets and surrounding landscapes in multiple conditions — rain, fog, complete darkness — and switch between thermal and digital channels without losing focus.
Features and Capabilities
The classic Thermion Rifle Scope comes with a turret for 4K digital channel viewing, making it simple and convenient to use during the day. Ambidextrous focusing knobs are also included making it easy for both left- and right-handed hunters to use. Thermal imaging is possible through a highly sensitive European Mate Sensor with less than 25 Milli Calorie NATD. Its 640 by 480-pixel resolution captures even the most minor temperature differences for the reliable identification of targets. Additionally, its powerful Germanium lens allows the best detection efficiency under any weather condition at any time of day or night.
The Picture-In-Picture function allows it to simultaneously display images from both optical channels, with priority being given to the Thermal or Digital Image. With an 8x magnification zoom capability, hunters can accurately spot targets at long distances without compromising image quality. An object as high as 1.8 meters can be detected up to 1800 meters away, even in complete darkness!
So, welcome the Thermion Duo DXB50 – your perfect companion in any scenario.
Thermal Imaging: A Modern Way of Hunting
Thermal imaging is an ideal night vision tool for specific applications. Armicide is launching more than 40 thermal imaging systems this year, including the Armalite Zeus. The Zeus line contains a few major components: core technology, camera, front lens system, output display, and housing construction.
The Armalite Zeus is based on the latest FLIR Tau 2 uncooled microbolometer camera. There are three FLIR sensor arrays to choose from – 160×120 pixel size of 25 microns, 336×256 pixel size of 17 microns, and 164×480, also with a pixel size of 17 microns. The more extensive the array, the smaller the pixel size – for better image quality. The FLIR core technology offers excellent thermal sensitivity and image quality.
Lenses and Output Display
Glass does not transmit heat very well; that is why all thermal imagers utilize germanium lenses. As germanium lenses get bigger, they may become the most expensive part of thermal imagers. Armasight Zeus offers a 42-millimetre lens in place of the common industry standard 35-millimetre lens – as well as 75-millimetres instead of a 50-millimetre lens for larger apertures. Output displays consist of colour organic light emitting diode (OLED) screens with a resolution of 800×600 pixels.
Housing Construction and Final Thoughts
The body construction ensures the device works flawlessly even in high humidity or heavy rain conditions across a wide range of temperatures from –25 to +50 degrees Celsius. The Thermion Duo DXP50 provides an aesthetic visual for any hunting weapon thanks to its classic daytime site mounted on a standard 30 mm ring – offering a flexible solution when hunting for up to 6 hours on one battery charge (one built-in plus one replaceable). Multimedia features like recording photos/video, improved WiFi connectivity and StreamVision 2 app integration make this device perfect for your iOS or Android devices too!
I hope you’re excited to try out this new modern way of hunting – Thermion Duo DXP50! In the meantime, enjoy the rest of the season in the wild!
